Hidden Basement

We tracked the merchant's son to a set of steps leading down into the darkness along a narrow alley in the warehouse quarter. At the bottom we discovered a hidden basement that had obviously been used as a hideout. There was no sign of the son or the bandits who had abducted him. But far worse things were waiting for us.
