Dismal Dungeon

What lurks in the darker corners of this dungeon? What are the inscribings on the stone tablet the map is carved into? And where does the entrance to this forgotten place lie?

just looking for maps and dungeon generation software and I must say your maps are some of the better ones that I have seen in a while

Very ink heavy, but a beautiful map. Two minor gripes: No door into the SE room (fixable with paint), and the entrance is at a weird location.

This is a great site! It will be added to my own RPG site at www.hobgoblinstavern.co.uk This guy has put a LOT of work into this site and it shows. The maps are very good and the free random programs are an added bonus. Keep up the good work! Andy Holmes of The Hobgoblin\'s Tavern T&T site.

The entrance to the south east room can be rectified by saying it is a secret door or you have to break your way in

Who is to say where the entrance is, I think the ambiguity of the situation works to our benefit...It is possible that one arrives through an inherent magic portal, a descending (or ascending) ladder, or secret passage. There is a definite (descending?) stair near center at the top of the cartograph.
